Adaptation and Reconstruction of Storage area of BALTAXIA a.s.

The meaning of this project is the revitalization of the "brownfield" storage area which is owned by company Baltaxia a.s.. As soon as the reconstruction will be finished Baltaxia a.s. will be able to use own storage plants which anables to decrease costs of leases which Baltaxia a.s. must pay to external business subjects. Convenient location of these plants is another important effect of this project, as plants are located extremely close to the highway connecting Liberec and Prague which will anable easier distribution. One of the main effect is increasing the number of employees as Baltaxia a.s. has promised to create 5 new positions in case the project will be implemented.

Above mentioned project has been chosen as the Pilot Project participating in PAAK projekt. PAAK project has been created in cooperation between 3 counties ( Liberec, Hradec Králové, Pardubice ).

Target of PAAK project is not only to increase the apsorptive and administration capacity of Northeast cohesive region, but also to increse ability of its applicants and recipients to procceed EU partnership projects included in Regional operating programme NUTS II Northeast. Main instrument how to achieve it, is to provide the qualified assistance to pilot projects.
